My girlfriend is here in the US on a work VISA. THing is that when we go on vacation our travel is limited to the United States since she can’t leave the USA without having issues coming back in. We like going to tropical places in December and we’ve been going to Hawaii the last 5 years. We would like to try something new like the Caribbean. She can travel freely within the United States with no problems but can’t leave the country. Can we go to the US Virgin Islands with out any problems?
Absolutely, you can go to the U.S. Virgin Islands…what a perfect idea! They are U.S. terriories, so it is just like traveling to another state…no problem. Have a great time.

Westerlies and Trade winds
The Westerlies or the Prevailing Westerlies are the prevailing winds in the middle latitudes between 30 and 60 degrees latitude, blowing from the high pressure area in the horse latitudes towards the poles. The winds are predominantly from the southwest in the Northern Hemisphere and from the northwest in the Southern Hemisphere.
