Author: admin
How do you get relief from the cold north winds of the Canadian climate? Just say “PVMâ€Â. Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Set amidst the magnificent Sierra Madre mountains, this traditional Mexican village comes complete with cobblestone streets, and the ambiance of tropical flowers. Friendly citizens provide ample dining opportunities and shopping adventures for both the locals and tourists alike. Your first visit to the area may be a winter getaway but the appeal of this region is so inviting many people are purchasing homes so they can embrace the culture and climate of Puerto Vallarta any time.
Puerto Vallarta, is located on the Pacific coast of Mexico along Banderas Bay. The temperature remains warm year-round, with evening temperatures cooling off the day. What could be more rejuvenating than spending time enjoying a walk on a sandy beach, listening to the ocean surf? According to the “Travel and Leisure Magazine Readers Survey,†Puerto Vallarta has been named the best beach area in Latin America. Make every day a beach day, with 25 miles of glorious beaches for walking, sunbathing and exploring. The local currency is the peso and of course your credit card is accepted almost everywhere. Over the years increased tourism and foreign owned real estate has brought attention to the water quality. Most of the restaurants have access to purified water and ice and are washing their salad products for ensured health and safety.
This region of Mexico is highly populated by tourist and seasonal residents. Hence there are ample activities to keep you busy, and wonderful restaurant opportunities offering local and continental fare. A diverse repertoire of recreational pastimes such as sailing, golfing, tennis, deep sea fishing, snorkeling, hot air ballooning, kayaking, jungle tours, horse back riding and excursions to over 30 art galleries and public buildings are at your doorstep for you to enjoy. If your idea of traveling and sightseeing includes wildlife you will be excited to know that the humpback whale winters in Banderas Bay every year. Other ocean attractions include the dolphins, giant manta and sea turtles. Avid bird watchers will thrive in this tropical region as they experience the sighting of the “Laughing Falcon†or “Blue Footed Booby.†More than 100 exotic birds reside in the Puerto Vallarta area.
Puerto Vallarta transportation is easily accessed through the abundant supply of taxis that operate throughout the town. The average fare is about $3.00 USD. Traveling the length of the town will cost about $6.00 USD. Interestingly enough taxi fares are posted in the daily newspaper and most major hotels. Remember you are in Mexico and Mexican entrepreneurs are renowned for price negotiation even on travel expenses.
It used to be that buying real estate was cash deals only in Mexico; this is no longer true. Financing for real estate within Mexico can be arranged. So don’t let the information of the past deter you from having your dream home in Puerto Vallarta.

Day 3: Morning at sea from the Suite.

Morning at sea from the Suite. Beautiful ocean view, and it seems I am still enamored with the many moods of the stateroom. Our stateroom attendant Rudy was exemplary. He has had experiences on other Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines ships, and he believes that ours is not the most elegant Royal Suite stateroom. I can't imagine what else they could add (other than maybe another half bath), but I'm looking forward to finding out!

SAVE A BUNDLE ON AIR FARE This scene has nothing to do with Andrew’s story line but I think it’s very funny. I don’t know if it was trick photography or if Eva Longoria was actually in the suitcase but I laugh every time she gets out of it.

The Perfect Caribbean Sailing Vacation

Have a summer vacation on mind that promises excitement, challenge & exploration? Try going on a Caribbean sailing vacation to have an exhilarating experience sailing the seas of the Caribbean. This kind of adventure trip not only rejuvenates your body and spirits but also appeals to the explorer in you. So pack your bags and head for the perfect Caribbean getaway – a sailing vacation in the Caribbean.
There is an extensive variety of sailing destinations on the many islands of the Caribbean that one can pick from. You can choose to navigate through the tropical islets and clear turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea or trace the routes of ancient mariners in the Mediterranean Sea; or, perhaps you may want to laze around in the beauty of the Scandinavian fjords.
The lucid, turquoise Caribbean Sea waters are perfect and highly inviting for any one who romances the idea of sailing or cruising! With an enchanting backdrop of scenic islands Caribbean seas offer ideal sailing prospects, especially with the easterly trade winds gently stroking your face while you cruise along the beautiful turquoise waters!
The Caribbean offers some of the most thrilling sailing destinations in the world. And any ’sailing trip’ without a visit to the British Virgin Islands would indeed be incomplete. The clear, blue waters are perfect for sailing coupled with other watersport activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming, or just basking on the white sandy beaches in the Caribbean sun.
And surprisingly these islands are only a small part of the thousands of inviting sailing destinations in the Caribbean. St. Martin is perhaps the best-recognized place to go to after your first or second yacht charter. From there, one can sail to the island paradises of Saint Barth and Anguilla.
All the night-creatures can look forward to Antigua and Barbuda that offer a vivacious nightlife. One can also sail to Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent, and the Grenadines as well as many of the other beautifu, tropical Caribbean islands. Travel around the infrequently visited coves and bays and bask in the natural bounty. You will certainly feel reinvigorated in both body and mind while sailing through these beautiful places.
One can contact a travel agent or a first class yacht & sailing company in the Caribbean and book his trip! One can conveniently do these reservations online as well on numerous travel websites!
