i’m planning on going on a vacation in november (1st - 5th) to an island in the caribbean, but am afraid of the hurricane season. what islands would not get hit during this period?

There are 3 islands that are outside the hurricane belt: Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao. I must sya though that because an island maybe withing the hurricane belt doesnt mean they will get hit by a hurricane. Barbados is a really great vacation get away and we have not had a hurricane in a REALLY long time so you should not miss out on something so great!

Barbados is a beautiful island. Lots of lovely scenery and so much to do, morning noon and night…there is something to do in Barbados for every kind of person, the quite ones the loud and so on…you can never get bored in Barbados and the island is very romantic as well!

As it relates to accommodation, there is a lovely resort in Barbados called The Barbados Beach Club. This is along the South Coast and has a lovely beach view.

The Barbados Beach Club is an all inclusive resort which offers breakfast, lunch, after noon tea, dinner, unlimited drinks, an exercise room (gym), pool aerobics, snorkeling, scuba diving lessons, windsurfing, Hobie cat cruises, beach volley ball, games room, free shuttle service to and from the main town and soooo much more. The activities that are included in this all-inclusive package are astounding.

The Barbados beach club has 3 restaurants on site and one of them is buffet the other two are a la carte. The two a la carte are seafood and the other is Italian.

This is a wonderful resort in a wonderful island; you should come and explore it for yourself my friend.

They also have a special going up to December 15th, 2009…you get 45% discount off the rate:

Me and a friend are looking to travel to the caribbean last minute before school starts. Where is the best place to go? Nightlife, and resorts with other students are key. Thanks

Barbados is a beautiful island. Lots of lovely scenery and so much to do, morning noon and night…you will enjoy it in Barbados so much to do especially for teens, or students period!

Feels like a movie set, except these galleons are for real. Dank tunnels and passageways alternating with intense sunlight and canons. This fort was not going to be taken! And yet, it is now handicap accessible.
