Caribbean travel tips and tricks
Caribbean travel, islands, all inclusive vactions and more!
Looking to travel/ party in Caribbean during may/june 2010? Who has the nightlife?
I am traveling to the Caribbean’s in late may/june. My dates are flexible and i am debating on were to go. I am looking for some nightlife bars, club, beach parties..I am 23 and looking to enjoy the tropics and unwind at night for a good price. Ive been looking at Trinidad/Tobago, Dominican Republic, and Barbados. Im open to ideas
Your best option: Cabarete, on the north coast of the Dominican Republic. I am only speaking from experience! It’s called the ‘South Beach’ of the Caribbean for a reason! Also, all the clubs are opened directly on the beach so that’s a great different vibe! And if whenever you feel like having a different type of nightlife, Sosua is about 15 minutes from Cabarete, with GREAT indoor clubs, though there are many prostitutes so if that’s not your vibe, it might get annoying!
Just send me a PM if you want any more information!

Barbados is a good choice but if you can come a little later that would be best. St Lawrence Gap is where the parties are at although there are many more places like Club Extreme and 1st Street Holetown.
If you like ‘dancehall’ then Beenie Man will be here in May.
Check out Gorylla Marketplace on facebook for more info on parties.

You might want to check out Jamaica nothing against the DR or Trinidad but the nightlife in jamaica is pretty jumping. If you go, look for hotels or Villas In Negril its only a 45minute ride from the Montego Bay Airport.
During the day you have Margaritaville and kinda touristy and then Ricks cafe where you can Jump off the Cliffs. The guys from Nitro Circus were just there and they have some sick clips of them Jumping off the Cliffs. At night you have events happening up and down the 7 mile strip.
There is a hard core reggae club called THE JUNGLE… tourists feel very comfortable there even though its a local club. If you want something more laid back and still get the island vibe check out Alfreds and hotels are always having events, just sneak your way in, its more interesting that way…lol

Barbados is amazing. Dec to Jun is the season but all year there are things going on, bearing in mind the hurricane season when you get the most rain is like end aug to nov. Go to St Lawrence Gap which is where the main nightlife strip but loads of other clubs around also, Holetown - 1st Street, Fisherman’s on Wed, Oistins on Friday, Restaurants, Bajan Roots & Rhythms, Cruises - Habour Master, Jammin, etc. Crop Over season particularly around Jul/Aug is great too. Just look around on the internet.

Barbados is a beautiful island. Lots of lovely scenery and so much to do, morning noon and night. You can never get bored because there is something for every type of person to take part in. Barbados is also romatic. Activites for kids and older ones…you will not regret visiting! The island has great beaches and is wonderful for shopping too! In Barbados you can also swim with Turtles. Wonderful sandy beaches with clear blue waters. Why not make this your destination?
