I was asked today …
I was asked today if Royal Caribbean is coming back. At this time, it doesn’t look like Royal Caribbean has any intensions of ever coming back.

To date, Royal …
To date, Royal Caribbean has shown no signs of reinstating YTB. Royal Caribbean deemed YTB as a “Card Mill” and terminated their relationship with YTB in the fall of 2007.
Carnival Cruise Lines has recently enacted tough restrictions on the use of RTA discounts, making each rep sell at least 5 cruises before they can be considered for a discount.
I’ve been told that several other suppliers have terminated their relationships with YTB. I will look into this, and will post my findings.

I know that you …
I know that you would like it if I didn’t talk about YTB’s problems, so that it would be easier for you to recruit and take peoples money. I am not doing these videos for you. I believe that people have a right to know about all theses issues before they invest their hard earned money. And you have shown that you (and many other Reps) are so misguided and so full of mis-information and propaganda, that you are not a good source for the real facts. Your YouTube username is a total misnomer.

If you read the …
If you read the travel industry trade websites, you’d know all about Vicki Freed leaving Carnival. Pull your head out of your before spouting off. Second, I don’t hide. I give my name and even my phone number on my videos. What about you? You are a coward. I’d gladly look “coach” in the eye. He is not my “Coach”. I don’t see him as a god like a lot of YTB people do. He is no saint. Over 80% of YTB reps made NO MONEY last year! Add YTB expenses and you get a big RED NUMBER! (and RED FLAG)

Vicki got passed up …
Vicki got passed up for a promotion? Right. Dude, this all happens at the same time and it is not a coincedence. Your comment about smoking crack is just that. Fact is you know nothing about YTB but you still spin it. YTB is not just a company, it’s people. People you need to look in the eye and explain why you are such a jerk when they have done nothing to you. Why don’t you go look Coach in the eyes and say the same things. I doubt you have the guts. Hide behind the videos.

You need to watch …
You need to watch the video again. I do encourage people to investigate all the facts. Unfortunately for you, none of the hard facts for these issues are in YTB’s favor. I know this probably es you off, because it makes your recruiting efforts hard. But I am not doing these videos for you.

I don’t have to …
I don’t have to smoke crack to know that it is bad…and I don’t have to go to YTB headquarters to know that Royal Caribbean terminated YTB. And…if Carnival is so in love with YTB, why did they change their policies to not allow YTB RTA’s to get discounts until they sell at least 5 cruises? Why did Carnival pass up Vicki Freed for a promotion? Why did Vicki leave Carnival to go to Royal Caribbean? Your comment doesn’t make sense.
March 25th, 2009 at 9:50 pm
Why don’t you …
Why don’t you encourage the readers of your videos to check out both sides of the stories and then trust that they are smart enough to discern fact from fiction?

Fact: Mark has …
Fact: Mark has never stepped foot in YTB and therefore does not give a truly objective opinion. Fact: YTB sold more cabins for Carnival in ONE DAY than any other travel business has in history. RCCL took notice and Lisa Bauer got “promoted”. Right. Fact: Vicki Freed is now in charge of the job that Lisa had and she came from Carnival. Carnival loves YTB and RCCL knows this.

Hey TruthandTravel. …
Hey TruthandTravel…You want the truth? You can’t handle the truth!!! Before you start saying asinine things like your comment, why don’t you go to the Royal Caribbean website, and see for yourself. This isn’t debatable. This is a FACT. They promoted Lisa Bauer first (they did not fire her!). Then…when Carnival failed to promote Vicki Freed, Vicki Left Carnival for Royal Caribbean. Go to RoyalCaribbean dot com and then to “Our Company” and then to “Our Leadership”
March 25th, 2009 at 9:50 pm
Promoted (lol)! …
Promoted (lol)! Are you that naive? Seriously, they “promoted” Lisa Bauer to the hotel division and brought in Vicki Freed from CARNIVAL!. Hmmm. That is not rocket science there Mark. Why would they bring in Vicki right after Lisa did that and YTB booked more cabins for Carnival in ONE DAY than any company in history had done? Do you honestly think that Royal Caribbean “promoted” Lisa? Comeon man. You are obsessed and your videos are evidence of that.

TruthandTravel’s …
TruthandTravel’s statement is a perfect example of the kind of non-sense, mis-information, and false information that Reps and RTA’s say to try to minimize the problem. It is almost a brainwashing issue. Which is rather sad. They hear it from an upline Rep or RTA, and they take it as fact. They allow themselves to be fooled.
Wake up TruthandTravel… this is a very real and serious problem for YTB. As is the IATA issue, and now the Rhode Island issues. Don’t burry your head in the sand.

So again, let’s …
So again, let’s look at the facts. A. Royal Caribbean has terminated their relationship with YTB. B. Lisa Bauer was promoted at Royal Caribbean. C. Vicki Freed was hired by Royal Caribbean. D. Scott Tomer of YTB states that they will not sell Royal Caribbean again, even if Royal Caribbean wants to come back. E. Royal Caribbean has showed no signs of changing it’s mind. Show us were these facts are out of context TruthandTravel. Show us facts…not opinion, or rumur. Facts.
March 25th, 2009 at 9:50 pm
YTB’s Scott Tomer …
YTB’s Scott Tomer has stated that YTB will never sell Royal Caribbean again (as long as he has breath). Watch YTB’s own video on it at youtravelbiz com /nov8.html They admit that the relationship with Royal Caribbean is over…and never to return.
March 25th, 2009 at 9:50 pm
Out of context? …
Out of context? What kind of kool aid have you been drinking? FACT: Royal Caribbean terminated their relationship with YTB. And you need to do your own homework. FACT: Royal Caribbean did not fire Lisa Bauer… they promoted her to Sr. VP Hotel Ops! And then they hired Vicki Freed from Carnival Cruise lines to fill her position. This is posted on the Royal Caribbean Website.
March 25th, 2009 at 9:50 pm
Mark you do nothing …
Mark you do nothing but spin things way out of context. You make the comment in this video “I don’t know”. You are right. You don’t know but that does not stop you from spinning it with your insinuations. You would make a great politician. Royal Caribbean will be working with YTB again soon. That will be in Royal Caribbeans best interest and they now know it. They fired the lady that made the decision to stop working with YTB right after that. Why don’t you talk about that?
March 25th, 2009 at 9:50 pm
I don’t think that …
I don’t think that kingkole02 was talking about Robert Kiyosaki or Warren Buffet. He was talking about the scammers (trash) that unfortunately are attracted to MLM companies. And he is spot on. It is a major problem with MLM. Reread his post.
March 25th, 2009 at 9:50 pm
What a subjective …
What a subjective and ridiculous statement. Perhaps the businesses you have been involved with. Robert Kiyosaki and very much pro-MLM. Is he Trash? Warren Buffet owns two MLM businesses. Is he trash?
March 25th, 2009 at 9:50 pm
What does this …
What does this comment have to do with anything?
March 25th, 2009 at 9:50 pm
what is your net …
what is your net worth. how much money do you have in the bank. I mean if it is under 10 million dollars, then i suggest that you give something a chance.
March 25th, 2009 at 9:50 pm
See the problem …
See the problem with MLM, is that they attract, trash. People who are scammers and just want quick money. The reason you are an agent is because you love the business. Same reason people start an MLM. They want others in there wonder product. However you find a shmuck who want to earn quick cash. Signs up 1000+ people he get paid that year for nothing and moves on, while they are left with nothing but bills to pay. Thats the problem with MLM.
March 25th, 2009 at 9:50 pm
Thats the only …
Thats the only example I can figure. If I was an agent and made profit in the billions with cruise company. Other companies should be all over that to get my money. So they would get mad and deciede to try to screw me by not having those services. Just my thought.
March 25th, 2009 at 9:50 pm
By the way, …
By the way, Carnival has changed it’s policy in dealing with YTB… Now they require RTA’s to sell at least 5 cruises before they can get a discount. Which is a nice way of saying no more discounts for people that just sign up to get the discounts.
March 25th, 2009 at 9:50 pm
This comment is a …
This comment is a perfect example of a YTB rep trying to make a positive out of a negative. It is crazy to think that Royal Caribbean dropped YTB because of YTB selling Carnival. YTB people will tell you anything to get you to sign up. BUYER BEWARE!
